Ensuring Final Project Progress, Informatics Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Holds Thesis Monitoring and Evaluation

Thursday, April 23, 2026 – The Undergraduate Informatics Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga held a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) session for the implementation of Final Projects (TA) for students currently undertaking their TA. This activity aims to ensure that every student stays on track in completing their research. Participating students were divided into four rooms during the morning and afternoon sessions. Each room was facilitated by two evaluator lecturers who were not the thesis supervisors of the students in that room. This scheme was implemented to ensure objectivity and provide fresh perspectives on the students' TA progress. During the Monev, each student presented their latest achievements, challenges faced, and targets for completing their TA. The evaluator lecturers then provided constructive suggestions and motivation to help students overcome obstacles and maintain consistency in their work. Through this activity, the Informatics Study Program hopes that all students can complete their TA properly and graduate on time. Monev serves as a space for reflection and a reminder that no matter how small the progress, it is important to keep communicating it to the thesis supervisor. Let’s stay enthusiastic in the process. As the familiar saying goes, "A good final project is a finished final project."
