Vision Mission and Objectives

VISION
"To become a center of excellence in the study of computational systems with an eco-socio-psycho-religio-technical paradigm"

The study of computational systems based on the eco-socio-psycho-religio-technical paradigm is a concrete manifestation of the concept of integrating Islamic and scientific knowledge, which is the vision of the university. This concept seeks to implement the study of computational systems within the framework of integrating human relationships with God (hablam munalllah) represented by the word "religio", human relationships with others (hablum minannash) represented by the words "socio-psycho", and human relationships with nature (hablum minal alam) represented by the word "eko". The word "technical" represents the study program.

This vision is the direction of the Study Program. With this vision, it is expected that the Study Program will produce graduates who are able to integrate and interconnect in the fields of Informatics, divinity, humanity, and nature. This vision is derived from the vision of the Faculty and the University.

The University's vision was formulated during the transformation of the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic Institute into Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University. This change brought a new paradigm that religious and general sciences are not separate, but are integrative and interconnected.

The Study Program's vision is future-oriented, and currently, the Study Program is experiencing rapid development in various fields. Science and technology cannot avoid changes.

MISSION
The scientific mission of the Informatics Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga is to provide excellent and leading education and teaching in the study of computational systems with an eco-socio-psycho-religio-technical paradigm.

OBJECTIVES
The Informatics Study Program aims to prepare graduates with expertise in the study of computational systems with an eco-socio-psycho-religio-technical paradigm. Thus, the Informatics Study Program has the following educational objectives:

  • To produce graduates who can become excellent professionals in designing computational systems with an eco-socio-psycho-religio-technical paradigm.
  • To produce graduates who have an entrepreneurial spirit based on computational science with an eco-socio-psycho-religio-technical paradigm.
  • To produce graduates who can continue their studies at a higher level related to the design of computational systems with an eco-socio-psycho-religio-technical paradigm.
